Who is this course for?

This course has been designed for people who may be interested in learning about climate change but do not wish to read lots of scientific articles to try and understand it.

Perhaps you feel overwhelmed when you hear about climate change on the news and are looking for a simple way to understand it? We believe that this course would help you!

How will you learn?

This is a self-taught course consisting of three modules made up of text, short animations, videos and interactive slides. At the end of each module there will be a short quiz to test your knowledge, but don't panic, this isn't graded, it's just for you to see what you have learnt.

What will you learn?

This course aims to provide you with a brief introduction to climate change, beginning with the basics of what climate change is and what causes it, before finishing with the effects of climate change on our oceans, biodiversity and ourselves.

What Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be covered?

Word Forest works hard to implement as many of the SDGs as possible in our work, which is why we wanted to highlight those discussed in this course.

We believe that this course will highlight the following SDGs:
